Scaling Impact: Partnering with the Cleveland Clinic

We are proud to announce a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, one of the nation’s largest and most advanced health systems, to prove this model at scale.

The Clinic serves over 15 million patients each year across 23 hospitals. For many, the patient journey begins with a faxed referral that must be routed across thousands of possible destinations. Through Luminai, this complex logic becomes a connected decision system. The platform processes the incoming document, classifies it, determines where it needs to go, and integrates with systems of record to initiate downstream automations. It applies the same judgement as a trained operator, consistently and at scale.

This use case is just one of many that will be deployed across the Clinic. Building on a shared automation platform, each subsequent use case we deploy becomes faster than the last.

AI Built for the Realities of Healthcare

Deploying AI in healthcare requires navigating fragmented data, complex workflows, and strict infrastructure, security, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Luminai is built specifically for this environment:

This ensures that decisions—such as routing a referral or handling a billing exception—are consistent, traceable, and aligned with a health system's specific SOPs.
• Continuous Learning Loops: Healthcare is exception-heavy. When a process hits an ambiguity, Luminai routes the work to the right team with full context rather than breaking the workflow. These human interventions are fed back into the system, allowing the platform to learn from every outcome and improve over time.

$38M Series B to Accelerate Our Mission

To fuel this growth, we have raised $38M in Series B funding, bringing our total funding to $60M. The round was led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India), with participation from Define Ventures, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and Scribble Ventures.

We are also supported by Bob McGrew, former Chief Research Officer of OpenAI, Kevin Weil, former Chief Product Officer of OpenAI, and advisors through Define like Toby Cosgrove from Cleveland Clinic, Bruce Broussard from Humana, Frank Williams from Evolent Health as well.

This capital allows us to scale our platform foundation that already supports 12 million workflow automations with an average time to value of just 48 days.
